Supply Tips
Use the following checklist to help choose the best bottle samples to supply for photography.
Glass: Check that the glass is clean and as free as possible from imperfections, warping, scratches and chips. Bottles are always thoroughly cleaned before photographing, and then post-edited, but the better the glass, the better the result.
Seams: Check that the bottle seams align down the sides of the glass when facing the label. Seams can cause distortions when light travels across or through them.
Labels: Check that any labels are clean, undamaged and applied straight with no air bubbles. Transparent wine bottles like Riesling or Rosé will typically have their rear labels removed before being photographed. This simply avoids it showing through from the viewing angle. If you do not wish for any labels to be removed please inform when making your order.
Closures: Check that closures are free from dents, damage and scratches.
